David is a director of Dendy Neville and works with clients in many business sectors advising on tax planning, business structures and audit matters.
Andrew is a director and is involved in providing accounting and taxation advice to a wide range of family companies, actively assisting in their development and expansion.
Paul is Tax Director of Dendy Neville. His client base includes large corporate clients and international groups, as well as high net worth individuals, non-residents and non-doms.
Kelly is an accounts and audit manager and assists Andrew Perkins in managing his client portfolio.
Steven is an audit and accounts manager spending the majority of his time being responsible for the completion of audits and the supervision and training of junior staff.
Laura is part of our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, audit and specialising in SRA Accounts Rules.
Vikki is part of our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts and overseeing Company Secretarial matters.
Laura is part of our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts.
Pauline is part of our Tax Department, dealing with the preparation of personal, partnership and corporate Tax Returns, as well as advising on tax matters.
Rebecca is our payroll manager looking after payrolls for an extensive client portfolio. Her duties include dealing with all aspects of payroll management and processing, as well as auto-enrolment and work based pensions.
John is the firm’s financial controller, IT manager and practice manager.
David is a director of Dendy Neville and works with clients in many business sectors, advising on tax planning, business structures and audit matters.
David also assists owner managed businesses with corporate and succession planning, and personal clients on all tax matters including inheritance tax and capital gains tax strategies. He is responsible for a number of solicitor clients where SRA Accounts Rules work is required and is experienced in advising legal practices generally.
David joined Dendy Neville in 1988 having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with another Kent based practice. He became a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1988 and a Fellow in 2003. David became a partner at Dendy Neville in 1993 and then a director in 2007 when the practice incorporated. David previously studied at the University of Kent at Canterbury, obtaining a BA Honours degree in Accounting and Computing (IT to younger readers!) in 1984.
Away from work David enjoys spending time with his family and socialising with friends. He has two sons and his weekends revolve around spending time with them and country walks with the family’s Harris Hawk called Alora! David's “sporting” interests include playing pool and watching football. He is developing an interest in wine and hopes to tour the vineyards of California one day.
He has a variety of audit clients and also provides personal taxation advice and planning to various types of client, including a number of high net worth individuals. He also specialises in advising on small to medium sized business start-ups.
He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a medium sized Kent practice and although he now lives in Ashford, he has strong links with Maidstone. Andrew joined Dendy Neville in 1997 as part of the audit/accounts department and was promoted to manager in the same year. He became a partner in July 2000 and a director in 2007, when the firm was incorporated. Andrew is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Away from the office Andrew spends much of his time following the many and varied sporting pursuits of his two sons, which in the summer means spending much of his spare time on the boundary of any one of the many cricket grounds dotted throughout the county. Andrew still finds time to regularly attend his local gym, ski, cycle and play a little sport himself. He also likes to travel, read and enjoys eating out.
He also brings his previous ‘Big 4’ experience to advisory projects, restructuring matters and resolving HMRC enquiries.
After university, Paul became a Chartered Accountant working at a small accountancy firm in Shropshire. He then spent around 10 years working at KPMG in London, where he became a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, specialising in corporation tax, international tax and Mergers & Acquisitions for a variety of clients from small family companies up to FTSE 100 businesses. He joined Dendy Neville in 2010, becoming a Director in 2013, and has also since obtained the STEP Certificate in Trusts & Estates.
Outside of work Paul dedicates most of his time to his wife and young daughters. Any spare time is devoted to playing his guitars and kidding himself that he’s ‘still got it’!
Kelly works with a variety of clients from sole traders and small limited companies through to groups of companies. Kelly’s role includes assisting clients to implement accounting systems, production of management accounts, dealing with various taxation matters and managing audits.
Kelly joined Dendy Neville in 2000, having trained and qualified with another Kent based practice. Kelly was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2000 and became a Fellow of the Institute in 2010. Previously, Kelly successfully completed a BA Honours degree course in Accounting and Finance in 1996.
Much of Kelly’s spare time is taken up in assisting her husband to run a successful business. She also enjoys yoga, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Steven is an audit and accounts manager, spending the majority of his time being responsible for the completion of audits and the supervision and training of junior staff.
He also deals with specialist audits including charities and SRA Accounts Rules.
Steven trained with a local firm, gaining a wide range of general practice experience before qualifying as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1996. He joined Dendy Neville in 1999. Since joining Dendy Neville Steven has gained further experience in dealing with specialist assignments, including due diligence and international groups.
Steven enjoys spending his spare time with his family.
Rebecca has a high level of contact with clients, liaising to ensure deadlines are met and that this crucial and sensitive area of client operations is dealt with in an accurate and timely manner.
Rebecca worked in London for 16 years as a payroll administrator before deciding she would like to place more emphasis on lifestyle by working locally. She took a post as a senior Payroll Administrator for a large cleaning company, before being promoted to Payroll Supervisor, supervising a team of 6.
Rebecca gained her IPPM Diploma in Payroll and Pensions Management in 2004 and joined Dendy Neville in 2008.
Rebecca enjoys going to the gym, Pilates and Zumba, and also enjoys watching golf (although she doesn’t play).
John is responsible for internal accounting matters including billing administration, debt collection and internal reporting. Initially employed principally as the firm’s IT Manager, he still oversees the infrastructure and implementation of all hardware and software.
John joined Dendy Neville in 1999 having previously spent time within the finance function of the NHS and as a project accountant in industry, primarily using his computer skills to develop systems and implement a large accountancy application.
John qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants at Dendy Neville. He has a degree in Information Management and Finance, which has remained relevant to his role as the firm's IT manager.
John has a wife and two boys who he loves to spend time with. In his spare time he does plenty of DIY, collects old games consoles and is involved with the Church of which he is a member.
After school, Laura trained with a small general practice in Sevenoaks working with a variety of businesses from a number of industries, including Solicitors Accounts Rules. Laura qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2010.
Laura joined the Dendy Neville accounts and audit department in 2015 and continues to deal with statutory accounts, management accounts and audits, as well as managing many of the SRA Accounts Rules engagements of the Firm.
When not at work, Laura can generally be found chasing around after her young family or enjoying an evening at the theatre - when she can trick someone in to babysitting!
Vikki trained at a local accountancy practice, where she gained a wide range of general practice experience before qualifying as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2014. In 2015 she joined Dendy Neville in their accounts and audit department.
Vikki’s role includes preparation of statutory accounts, assisting clients with the preparation of management accounts, and managing company secretarial matters.
Outside of work Vikki has been a member of a small dance group for over 20 years. Vikki also enjoys long walks in the countryside with her husband and dog.
Laura has worked with local practices both in Kent and in Derby gaining a breath of accounting experience. She joined Dendy Neville in 2014 when she settled back in Maidstone quickly becoming an important member of the accounts team.
Outside of work, Laura and her husband enjoy visiting local vineyards, spending time with friends and family whilst planning the next project on their house.
Vinnie is part of our Tax Department, dealing with the preparation of personal, partnership and Trust & Estate Tax Returns, as well as advising on related tax matters.
Vinnie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians. Vinnie has experience in dealing with, and advising, personal tax clients on all aspects of tax compliance and tax planning including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. She also has experience in the taxation of trusts and estates, as well as in matters of tax residence and domicile.
Vinnie has over 20 years of personal tax experience, working first at HMRC and then in practice, with a combination of small local Firms and spells within larger London practices.
Outside of work, Vinnie loves seeing the world through overseas holidays, reading Crime Thrillers, and spending time with family and friends.
Pauline trained at KPMG in London, becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2002 and specialised in corporation tax. In 2007 Pauline joined the alcohol company Diageo and worked for 7 years in the Group Tax Department dealing with corporate tax compliance, large HMRC enquiry project work and international tax.
Pauline spends most of her time outside work running around after her two young daughters and working as Treasurer to the local school PTA.
