Sophia works in our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts and also Company Secretarial matters.

Sophia joined Dendy Neville in 2021 after working in other local accountancy practices where she had gained a wide range of general practice experience.

In her spare time Sophia enjoys spending time with her friends and her two dogs, as well as going to the gym.

Luke joined Dendy Neville in 2020 after completing his A levels and having travelled to Australia, Singapore, Bali, Sri Lanka and across India, visiting the Taj Mahal and honing his Indian cooking skills whilst staying with family friends in the Punjab region.

Luke became AAT qualified in 2022 and is currently working towards his ACA qualification.

Outside of work, Luke likes to travel and has a number of sporting interests, sometimes combining the two with a ski trip to the French Alps. He is a keen cricketer having wielded a bat since the age of six and during his early teenage years he went on to represent Kent on the County circuit.

David is a director of Dendy Neville and works with clients in many business sectors, advising on tax planning, business structures, acquisitions/disposals and audit matters.

David also assists owner managed businesses with corporate and succession planning, and personal clients on all tax matters including inheritance tax and capital gains tax strategies. He is responsible for a number of solicitor clients where SRA Accounts Rules work is required and is experienced in advising legal practices generally.

David joined Dendy Neville in 1988 having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with another Kent based practice. He became a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1988 and a Fellow in 2003. David became a partner at Dendy Neville in 1993 and then a director in 2007 when the practice incorporated. David previously studied at the University of Kent at Canterbury, obtaining a BA Honours degree in Accounting and Computing (IT to younger readers!) in 1984.

Away from work David enjoys spending time with his family and socialising with friends. He has two sons and his weekends revolve around spending time with them and country walks with the family’s Harris Hawk called Alora! David's “sporting” interests include playing pool and watching football. He enjoys travelling and is developing an interest in wine, hoping to tour the vineyards of California one day.

Andrew is a director of Dendy Neville and is involved in providing accounting and taxation advice to a wide range of family owned companies, actively assisting in their development and expansion.

He has a variety of audit clients and also provides personal taxation advice and planning to various types of client, including a number of high net worth individuals. He also specialises in advising on small to medium sized business start-ups.

He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a medium sized Kent practice and although he now lives in Ashford, he has strong links with Maidstone. Andrew joined Dendy Neville in 1997 as part of the audit/accounts department and was promoted to manager in the same year. He became a partner in July 2000 and a director in 2007, when the firm was incorporated. Andrew is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Away from the office Andrew spends much of his time following the many and varied sporting pursuits of his two sons, which in the summer means spending much of his spare time on the boundary of any one of the many cricket grounds dotted throughout the county. Andrew still finds time to regularly attend his local gym, ski, cycle and play a little sport himself. He also likes to travel, read and enjoys eating out.

Paul is Tax Director of Dendy Neville. His client base includes large corporate clients and international groups, as well as high net worth individuals, non-residents and non-doms.

He also brings his previous ‘Big 4’ experience to advisory projects, restructuring matters and resolving HMRC enquiries.

After university, Paul became a Chartered Accountant working at a small accountancy firm in Shropshire. He then spent around 10 years working at KPMG in London, where he became a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, specialising in corporation tax, international tax and Mergers & Acquisitions for a variety of clients from small family companies up to FTSE 100 businesses. He joined Dendy Neville in 2010, becoming a Director in 2013, and has also since obtained the STEP Certificate in Trusts & Estates.

Outside of work Paul dedicates most of his time to his wife and young daughters. Any spare time is devoted to playing his guitars and kidding himself that he’s ‘still got it’!

Kelly is part of our tax department as well as being an accounts manager who assists Andrew Perkins in managing his client portfolio.

Kelly works with a wide variety of clients from small limited companies through to groups of companies. Kelly’s role includes various taxation matters, as well as assisting clients to implement accounting systems, and production of management and statutory accounts.

Kelly joined Dendy Neville in 2000, having trained and qualified with another Kent based practice. Kelly was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2000 and became a Fellow of the Institute in 2010. Previously, Kelly successfully completed a BA Honours degree course in Accounting and Finance in 1996.

Away from work Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and much of her time is spent with her young son. Any spare time is taken up in assisting her husband to run a successful business and she also enjoys travelling.

Steven is an audit and accounts manager, spending the majority of his time being responsible for the completion of audits and the supervision and training of junior staff.

He also deals with specialist audits including charities and SRA Accounts Rules.

Steven trained with a local firm, gaining a wide range of general practice experience before qualifying as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1996. He joined Dendy Neville in 1999. Since joining Dendy Neville Steven has gained further experience in dealing with specialist assignments, including due diligence and international groups.

Steven enjoys spending his spare time with his family.

Rebecca is our payroll manager looking after payrolls for an extensive client portfolio. Her duties include dealing with all aspects of payroll management and processing, as well as auto-enrolment and work based pensions.

Rebecca has a high level of contact with clients, liaising to ensure deadlines are met and that this crucial and sensitive area of client operations is dealt with in an accurate and timely manner.

Rebecca worked in London for 16 years as a payroll administrator before deciding she would like to place more emphasis on lifestyle by working locally. She took a post as a senior Payroll Administrator for a large facilities management company, before being promoted to Payroll Supervisor, supervising a team of six.

Rebecca gained her IPPM Diploma in Payroll and Pensions Management in 2004 and joined Dendy Neville in 2008.

Rebecca enjoys going to the gym, especially Spin classes. She is also rather partial to a nice glass of Red in her hot tub.

Laura is part of our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, audit and specialising in SRA Accounts Rules.

After school, Laura trained with a small general practice in Sevenoaks working with a variety of businesses from a number of industries, including Solicitors Accounts Rules. Laura qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2010.

Laura joined the Dendy Neville accounts and audit department in 2015 and continues to deal with statutory accounts, management accounts and audits, as well as managing many of the SRA Accounts Rules engagements of the Firm.

When not at work, Laura can generally be found chasing around after her young family or enjoying an evening at the theatre - when she can trick someone in to babysitting!

Vikki primarily works within our tax department, but also assists the accounts department with SRA Accounts Rules and other matters. Within the tax department, Vikki works on various taxation matters related to individuals and companies.

Vikki trained at a local accountancy practice, where she gained a wide range of general practice experience before qualifying as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2014. In 2015 Vikki joined Dendy Neville in the accounts and audit department but now works primarily within the tax department.

Outside of work Vikki enjoys long walks in the countryside with her husband, her young children, and the dog!

Laura is part of our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts.

Laura has worked with local practices both in Kent and in Derby gaining a breath of accounting experience. She joined Dendy Neville in 2014 when she settled back in Maidstone quickly becoming an important member of the accounts team.

Outside of work, Laura and her husband enjoy visiting local vineyards, spending time with friends and family whilst planning the next project on their house.

Vinnie is part of our Tax Department, dealing with the preparation of personal, partnership and Trust & Estate Tax Returns, as well as advising on related tax matters.

Vinnie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians. Vinnie has experience in dealing with, and advising, personal tax clients on all aspects of tax compliance and tax planning including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. She also has experience in the taxation of trusts and estates, as well as in matters of tax residence and domicile.

Vinnie has over 20 years of personal tax experience, working first at HMRC and then in practice, with a combination of small local Firms and spells within larger London practices.

Outside of work, Vinnie loves seeing the world through overseas holidays, reading Crime Thrillers, and spending time with family and friends.

Pauline is part of our Tax Department, dealing with the preparation of personal, partnership and corporate Tax Returns, as well as advising on tax matters.

Pauline trained at KPMG in London, becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2002 and specialised in corporation tax. In 2007 Pauline joined the alcohol company Diageo and worked for 7 years in the Group Tax Department dealing with corporate tax compliance, large HMRC enquiry project work and international tax.

Pauline spends most of her time outside work running around after her two young daughters and working as Treasurer to the local school PTA.

Ryan works in our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts and carrying out audits.

Ryan joined Dendy Neville in 2014 after finishing his A Levels. He became AAT qualified in 2017 and ACCA qualified in 2021.

Outside of work, Ryan likes to watch sport and go travelling, in particular taking city breaks.

Danielle works in our audit and accounts department, dealing with the preparation of statutory and management accounts and carrying out audit and SRA Accounts Rules engagements.

Danielle joined Dendy Neville in 2016 after finishing her A levels and having travelled to India and Nepal, visiting the Taj Mahal and Mount Everest on her trip. Studying and training at Dendy Neville, Danielle became AAT qualified in 2018 and then ACA qualified in 2020, being admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales in 2021.

In her spare time Danielle enjoys exploring the Kentish Countryside and is a keen baker.

Mark is part of our Tax Department, dealing with the preparation of personal, partnership and corporate Tax Returns, as well as advising on tax matters.

After attaining his degree in Economics, Mark joined a local accountancy practice in 2014, where he gained a wide range of general practice experience. In 2017 he joined Dendy Neville, initially working in audit and accounts before specialising in tax. Mark was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2019, and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2023.

Away from work, Mark enjoys a variety of sports and is a keen gamer. He is also a bit of a politics geek, after getting involved in debating at University.

Jo lived and worked in London for 14 years, before moving back to Kent in 2001 with her two sons.

Jo joined Dendy Neville in 2017 having previously worked with Rebecca Palmer at a large facilities management company where she was responsible for processing large volume payrolls and for overseeing the transition to auto enrolment for around 32,000 staff.

Jo and Rebecca remain close friends and endured the moon walk together in 2011 – 26 gruelling miles, but well worth every blister in support of such a great cause. Jo’s hobbies include caravanning, outdoor life, walking, swimming and cycling. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her great-nieces and nephews.

Reece is part of our audit and accounts department, mainly dealing with the preparation of statutory accounts.

Following a change in career path, Reece joined Dendy Neville in 2023 and is currently working towards his AAT qualification.

In his spare time Reece has a passion for travelling and a variety of sports. He has a keen interest in golf and spends leisurely hours on the course, perfecting his swing and enjoying the serene surroundings.

Hazel is part of our Tax Department, dealing with the preparation of personal and partnership Tax Returns, as well as advising on tax matters.

Hazel joined Dendy Neville in 2023 after working in other accountancy practices where she had gained a wide range of tax experience, and also became ATT qualified. She is now working towards her CTA qualification.

In her spare time Hazel enjoys going to the gym and walking the dog. She also enjoys travelling, trying new food and finding a good film to watch at the cinema.
